To encourage transgender persons who have faced many difficulties but have moved forward through their own efforts, gained education, shown their talents, and achieved success in different fields—and to inspire other transgender persons—April 15 is observed as Transgender Day, on which The Best Transgender Award will be given.
Applications for the mentioned award should be submitted through the website awards.tn.gov.in.
